When we gather, our desire is to be refined in community. We offer Formation Groups and Affinity groups, each designed with the purpose of creating space for us to grow and flourish in relationship.
If you are interested in hosting a small group, fill out a Group Leader serve form at www.journeytn.com/serve.
As a collective, we desire to create safe and supportive spaces for you to grow in a community with trusted companions. The primary way we do this is through our artist groups. Currently, we have five peer groups that you can choose from:
- Fine Artist
- Young Adult (The Farm)
How did we get here? What should be done? And what does God want me to do about race, injustice, and social action?
In this season of our Biblical Unity gathering, we'll be reading through and discussing the book "How to Fight Racism" by Jemar Tisby.
This group is always open to new members and attendees!
Alpha is an open and informal conversation about life, spirituality, and the person of Jesus without judgment or pressure. We want to create a safe space to be curious about our thoughts and questions together without the pressured atmosphere that often comes with these conversations. Alpha is a series of 8 sessions exploring the Christian faith. Each talk looks at a different question around faith and is designed to create conversation. Everyone is welcome.
Friend, do you have a hard time loving the skin you are in? Does loving God and others often feel like more of a chore than a joy?
The Wellness Revelation will challenge you to get fit by seeking God first and foremost. In these pages, you will learn how to live well both physically and spiritually so that you are best equipped to love and serve others from a whole heart. The Wellness Revelation will change the way you love God, yourself and others.
This 9-week group begins on March 5th!
Harry and Robin Schuh are new to the area and forming a new small group via Zoom, with hopes to figure out how to gather in a safe and fun way in the future. Open to all.
Bring your own drinking glass, cigar, and lawn chair for a time of good hangs and conversation.
Each hang will feature a whiskey/bourbon of choice or you can bring your own bottle (or non-alcoholic selection) for the hang. Drinks will be premade based on how many people RSVP by Sunday evening. The group will eventually use slack to check in on who is coming & what drink will be featured.
The cost will be about $5-7 per person (depending on the price of the bottle and the number of people who attend).
This group is for adults only and attendees are highly encouraged to drink responsibly.
The Saulters and Hastys are welcoming people every other Sunday evening at 6:00 PM.
These discussions will be around books, books of the Bible, and the current Journey teaching series. This group is located in the Bellevue are of Nashville.
Toria Seetharam and Betsy Ekle will be leading a group through Peter Scazzero's book, Emotionally Healthy Spirituality. Participants may purchase their own books and join in as the group 3-4 discussion questions each week in a safe and comfortable environment.
At this time, child care is not available. However, this group meets during Journey Student Ministries gatherings.
