Layla originally moved to Nashville in 2015 for college (anchor down!) and returned to town in 2022. She started attending Journey shortly after moving back and was immediately drawn to its people, hospitable environment, and intentionally curated space for curiosity and faith.

Layla treasures being a part of the Journey community and volunteers in worship and youth ministry — partly for the benefits of delicious fresh baked bread on Sundays and partly for the joy of getting to hang out with wonderful people.
